Be the change you wish to see in the world.

 ~ Gandhi

Our yoga practices have transformed us, now it’s our turn to help transform the lives of others.

Former Indianapolis resident and yogini, Pamela Broyles, is taking part in the Off the Mat Into the World 2008 Seva Challenge.  She must raise $20,000 in order to travel to the garbage dumps of Cambodia where small children fend for their families by picking through the trash.  While there, she will take part in a two-week leadership training, and work directly with the kids at one of the five orphanages and the Cambodian Children's Fund Community Center. During this time, she will also help erect a water well in a local village, as well as learn about Cambodian culture and the effects of the genocide.

Eric Bryant will lead a special, heart-opening, service-themed, transformative yoga class on Sunday, September 28 at Invoke Yoga & Pilates at 10 a.m.  Suggested donation is $25 (cash or checks only, please).  Our goal is to raise $1,000!

We all have a love/hate relationship with our hips.  They can be too tight, too big, too restrictive...but without them we couldn't do many of the amazing things that we do.  For hips to be healthy, we need to find the balance between mobility and stability.

Join me on Saturday, September 27 at Fun With Yoga studio in Terre Haute for a lively, challenging vinyasa workshop designed to open and strengthen one of the largest, most critical joints in our body.

I offer a variety of workshops both privately and on a contract basis.  Contact me to discuss customizing a workshop for your group or studio.  Recent workshops have included:
   - Partner Yoga - Reawakening Playfulness
   - Partner Yoga and Thai Massage -
